Don’t Look Up is an upcoming American satirical disaster film directed by Adam McKay. The film stars an ensemble cast including Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep, and Cate Blanchett. The film is scheduled to be released on November 24, 2020, by Netflix.

Don’t Look Up – The Movie
Don’t Look Up is an upcoming American satirical comedy-drama film directed by Ned Benson and written by Benson and Elizabeth Olsen. The film stars an ensemble cast including Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep, and Tyler Perry. The plot follows two low-level astronomers who go on a media tour to warn the public about an approaching asteroid that will strike Earth in six months.
The project was first announced in February 2019, with Brie Larson attached to star and produce. In May 2019, DiCaprio joined the cast of the film, with Grande also signing on that month. Production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but eventually began in October 2020.
Don’t Look Up is scheduled to be released on Netflix on December 11, 2020.

Jonah Hill is in talks to join the cast of Don’t Look Up, a new movie from director Adam McKay. The film, which is set to start filming in Boston this fall, will also star Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Hill is set to play Mark, a character who is described as “a low-level astronomers who discovers that a comet is on a collision course with Earth.” Lawrence and DiCaprio will play astronomers who attempt to warn the world about the impending disaster.
McKay’s previous films include The Big Short and Vice. He also directed the pilot for the HBO series Succession.
