However, it should be noted that Bolt was running in a sprint which only lasts for a short distance. The average speed for a human over a longer distance such as a marathon is much lower, around 4-5 mph (6.4-8 km/h).

In comparison, the average top speed of a cheetah is around 70 mph (113 km/h) making them the fastest land animal on earth. However, cheetahs can only sustain their top speed for short distances before they need to rest. Over long distances, their average speed falls to around 40-50 mph (64-80 km/h).

So how does Quicksilver’s speed compare to these other speeds? We can not say for sure because we do not know how long the hallway or stairs were that he ran down in the movie. However, based on what we see in the film, it appears that Quicksilver’s top speed is somewhere between that of a human and a cheetah.
