And finally, the sixth movie is set to be released in 2021 and will be titled simply Resident Evil.

The first Resident Evil movie

The first Resident Evil movie, simply titled Resident Evil, was released in 2002. The film follows the story of Alice (played by Milla Jovovich), a woman who has been infected with a virus that turns her into a superhuman killing machine. As Alice tries to find a cure for herself, she must also battle the Umbrella Corporation, a powerful organization that created the virus.

Alice is eventually captured by Umbrella and taken to their underground headquarters, where she is experimented on further. However, she escapes and uses her newfound powers to defeat Umbrella once and for all. The movie ends with Alice riding off into the sunset with Jill and the other survivors.

The third Resident Evil movie
